Nan, what can I say, you were the most beautiful and sophisticated lady. You taught me so much from baking, sewing and crafts! I loved every moment at your house when I was younger! Making cards and crafts at the dining room table to going on adventures! Knowle Park was one of my favourite places to visit with you and Grandad, the picnic and the deer were the highlight! You kept us entertained by taking us swimmming to journeys on the bus! In my adult years you have been there for me at my most significant times! You helped me move and clean my first ever house and taught me lots about the garden! You came with me to many nursery’s and showed me what to plant. Next was my engagement, you came with me to find the dress. Your seamstress background helped me decide and I knew it was the one when you and the family lit up! I’m going to miss you on my special day but I know a part of you will be there. Finally, in my new house, in your 80’s you were scrubbing the kitchen for an entire day! You were such an amazing woman, who taught me so much. You are going to be very missed but I will always remember how lucky I was to have a Nan like you 💐♥️ Lots of love, Joanna & Ben
