I have the most amazing memories of Nan from growing up to all our recent christmases and visiting. Many have already been said by my lovely family. My favourite memory is going to Nan’s for a sleepover during the school holidays, getting up to have one of those individual boxes of cereal (so much choice!), then setting off for our adventures in Orpington or Bromley. I will always remember being so excited to get on the bus with Nan and we would sit right at the front on the top deck to watch the world go by! Once returned from our adventures, being treated to panda pop and a video or the Nintendo (the rollerskating game especially!). I’ll cherish all the amazing memories we made together including making cards for mum and dad with left over cards Nan kept (recycling from an early age!). Another favourite memory is the panto and McDonald’s at Christmas, it still makes me smile thinking about it. Nan was a truly amazing, loving and gentle soul who we will never forget. Even recently visiting and always having the best m&s biscuits, homemade sausage rolls for Christmas and her legendary lemon cake. Rest in peace Nan, we love you so much. Xoxo
